装備を購入する前にお近くのHEMAクラブを確認することをお勧めします。クラブでは初心者にいくつかの装備を貸し出すことがあります。なお、クラブによって学ぶ剣術が異なることがあるためクラブごとで必要な装備が変わることがあります。
ここに書いた装備品は HEMA Japan のメンバーに使われていますが、推奨しておりませんのでご了承ください。このリストは国内・国外で購入できる部品とその値段、どんな装備品があるのかをイメージしやすいように作りました。

We recommend you visit a nearby club FIRST, before investing in equipment. Most clubs have some equipment to share when you are first getting started. Also, because different clubs practice different forms, they may have different requirements for equipment.
The below listed equipment is not necessarily endoresed by HEMA Japan, though we use this equipment ourselves. Our goal here is to illustrate what can be purchased locally, vs. abroad, and to give you an idea of the equipment you will need and costs.

Regarding Synthetic Swords

合成品の武器について

私たちはコールドスチール製のトレーニングソードの使用はお勧めしません。プラスチックが硬く、刀身は柔軟性がないため相手に怪我をさせる恐れがあります。また、本来の剣の重さや重心を正確に再現していません。

We do NOT recommend "Cold Steel" training swords. The plastic is much too dense. They are not flexible, and too heavy. They do not accurately simulate real swords.

Regarding "Rawlings" synthetic swords, they are quite acceptable for training. However, the point of the "Rawlings" swords is that they should be cheap (approximately 70-80 euros, 11,000 - 13,000 yen). "Rawlings" arming sword and long sword can be found on Amazon.jp. However, the price is MUCH TOO HIGH in Japan (26,646 - 46,500 yen).

キャッスルティンタジェルには騎士の蔵という合成剣やグローブなどといったHEMA用の道具をで扱う国内オンラインショップがあります。
ただし、海外の正規価格よりも高く設定されているため、少量の道具を買う場合は便利ですが、一度に複数人の分の道具などを買う場合は、海外から個人輸入した方が安く済む可能性があります。

Castle Tintagel now has an online shop, from which you can buy swords, gloves, and other gear. However, you will pay 2x the product's original price. This is "normal" I feel, since you don't have to deal with international shipping and banking transactions (which is difficult with some Japanese bank accounts). Thus, if you only need one or two items, it is best to buy from Tintagel. If you want several items (or can combine several people's orders), it is best to buy in bulk from the original companies.
